Artist Query is a singer/songwriter/musician/caller/dancer/instructor from Downtown,
Somewhere. Their art is a diversified mix of Folk,
Blues, Big Band, Jazz, Western, Renaissance, Classical, Modern, Hip
Hop Rap, Pop but for Query - the music is about the words. The lyrics come from
the heart and take you on a journey through landscapes
deep and wide, seascapes wind-whipped and wet, and spacescapes eclectic
and serene. They evoke the solace of open spaces, the
security of encapsulation, and raw, wild, and free emotions - sometimes beautiful, sometimes
savagely beautiful. The rhythm instrumentation often echoes the words, inviting you into the
story.
Artist is a founding member of the Musicality Enhanced
Group that
has performed on the Palouse since 1987.
Query's first CD - Some Kind of Music- was released in the world many years ago.
